Delegation of the Day: Italy

Theme: Music

It´s been a hard day, very busy and different from all the others because as delegation of the day we had a lot of things of the camp depended by us and we wanted to be good…

We were so excited since the waking up. We decided to sing “ If you happy and you know..” in Italian because it´s kinda warm up and it´s very popular in Italy, and we felt like actors before a permormance, we were breathing a lot..

The worst part of the day was the cleaning time because we had to clean the bathrooms!!!!

We putted a lot of attention before every meal time in putting the place mates on the tables in right way so all the tables could have always different people and different nations, but it´s been very hard..
We planned a lot of activity for deciding which table would go first to take the food; at breakfast we did a choosing song, “ Ambarabacciccícoccó”, between the tables; for lunch we planned a quiz, questions about our country, history and art..
We have been so happy to see that the questions weren´t so difficult to guess for everybody than we tought…
At dinner we changed and we played a mime game referring of the people in the camp, kids and adults, and everybody had lot of fun, from then on our miming began an institution, lot of times we have seen our figured played again and again talking of that people of the game..

This afternoon it´s been very funny because we did a lot of group dancing all together, the leaders and staff were very into the dancing and it looks like if we were at a party..

In the evening it was Turkey and Mexico national night! They did a lot of tipical dancing with the costumes, they were all so interesting and funny and the kids were so great.. The Turkish boys did some dancing figures very hard and at the end…… La Pignatta!!! A lot of candies! But they were very spicy.. Our mouths were on fire!!!

Anyway it´s been a very great day, we had a lot of fun and we were very happy at the lullabies.. Goodnight..:- *
